Below is our 2007 winner Johnny Royds with is net on the last match.

Well done Johnny keep it up. He took away the 1st prize of a maver seat box donated by the fishery, a £70 vouucher from Octoplus and a goody bag made up from the fishery and Platt Bridge Tackle & Bait.

Our 2nd place winner, James Taylor he took the holdall, net bag and stink bag donated by northwest tackle and the fishery, ta reel donated by Platt Bridge Tackle & Bait, a £50 voucher donated by Octoplus and a goody bag. Well done James and keep smiling.

Our 3rd place winner was Jack Tomney our youngest competitior. He took the Ron Thompson rod & reel donated by Leigh Tackle & Bait, a £30 voucher from Octoplus and a goody bag from the fishery. It didn't matter what the weather was like Jack never failed to keep smiling.

This is the group photo from the last match with Gaz from Platt Bridge Tackle & Bait. All the children tried really hard and should be very proud of themselves. We hope to see you all again next year. I would like to say a very big thank you to the kids for turning up in rain or sunshine and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Just remember kids it isn't the winning that's important it's the taking part..Well done everyone.
